What Can Astrology Do For You?

It can help explain you to yourself -- or someone you care about to you. (Natal Chart) It can compare the charts of two people to see how compatible they are; it can tell if they'll be honest with other, or if one will try to take advantage of the other. (Relationship Chart) It can give you an accurate look at the types of things you'll have facing you in the near future (Transit Chart); and even more specifically for the year following the time the Sun returns to the position it was in at the time of your birth. (Solar Return Chart) If the solar return looks more unfortunate than fortunate for that time period, the astrologer can tell you a much more fortunate location where you can spend the day (or even just a few hours that encompass the time the Sun will be at your birth degree at that location.)

Does that sound impossible? It did to me, too, when I was studying Solar Returns. But it works. I've seen it happen many times. Do you want to make a bunch of money in your coming solar year; spend the day in the most fortunate location for money. Do you want to meet the right person for you; go to that place.

A Spiritual Reading (this requires more than one chart) can help you determine what your Spiritual Path is, and whether or not you're on it. An Occupational Reading will show you the best way to make money, as well ad the kind of work that is best suited to you. (Not always the same.)

A Trauma Chart is extremely helpful to a person who has been through a serious trauma because it can show how the person will change as a result of the trauma.

The Horary Chart is the last one I'm going to talk about today. This chart can answer any question, or group of connected questions, as long as the questions are properly asked. It can help you find lost items, pets, or people. It can also give valuable information about what was happening when they were lost. It can tell you whether a missing item, pet, etc., was lost or stolen. Need to know whether to put your house on the market; or if you do, how long before it sells? Trying to decide which car to buy,or if you should have elective surgery? Why did your fiance really break up with you? Why didn't you get the job you wanted? (It's better to ask in advance if you will get the job, but the other way will give you a lot of insight.) Should you take a trip to wherever? I've even done horary charts for which team was going to win especially important games. No question is too frivolous as long as it's important to you.

Who's a healer?

I need to clear up something from yesterday. I am not technically a health professional, though I have spent many years studying and practicing various healing modalities and writing about them. So I can honestly say I am a healer -- a person who reaches out to others to make them feel better in any way I know how. Sometimes to make their bodies feel better, sometimes to make them feel better about themselves. When any of us do anything to make another person feel better -- physically, emotionally or psychically -- then we are a healer at that time.

Healers come from all walks of life. A number of years ago, before my son was married, he studied several healing modalities also. After he completed the master/teacher level of Reiki he decided it was time to purchase his own table. He made his living as a construction foreman, so he asked me if I would call around town to see who had a good deal and make an appointment for him to stop in after work to examine the table. He wanted a really good one. I agreed. The next afternoon he went. The woman who had stayed a few minutes late to accomodate him looked him up and down, from his dirty T-shirt and short pants to his work boots, and turned her nose up a bit..

"Your mother said you're a construction foreman. Don't you think it's a little strange for you to be wanting a professional Reiki table?"

"No. Last I heard, Jesus was a carpenter."

You never know where your next healer will come from. All it takes is an open heart and a true desire to help.

Over the years quite a few people have been astonished that I choose to combine astrology with healing for the betterment of people I work with. That's why I talked about Pythagoras yesterday. He believed that healing should be total -- body, mind and spirit. That's how I use astrology.

That's it for today. I've worked hard these past few weeks, trying to get a website up and running, then starting a writing journal about the book on astrology and healing that my students and friends are determined that I write. I'll note the website on here as soon as it works. Nobody has ever accused me of being a computer genius. In fact, my grandson said I was a dinosaur!
